Jimmy Maurice Salley

Jimmie "Bo" Maurice Salley, 82, entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until service time beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Weyland Gauntt. Interment will follow the service located at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Bo was born on December 23, 1938 in Converse, Louisiana to Charlie and Aylean Salley. Bo enjoyed playing piano and spending time with his family reminiscing and drinking coffee. He attended numerous musical conventions in the local and East Texas areas using his talent. Preceding Bo are his parents, Charlie Eugene Salley and Loda Aylean Coker Salley; brother, Neutria Salley; and nephew, Ricky Salley. He is survived by his brother, C.W. Salley and wife Mary Louise; nephew, Ronnie Salley and wife Tina; great-nephews, Joshua Salley and wife Jessica, and Joseph Salley; great-niece, Hannah Salley; and great-great nieces, Addison, Aliza, and Adalida Salley. Honoring Bo as pallbearers will be Ronnie Salley, Joshua Salley, Joseph Salley, Michael Mancil, Carlin Caldwell, and Jerry Bissell.
