Jimmie Earl Singletary

Jimmie Earl Singletary, 79, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1943 to Harry Robert and Gertie May Singletary in Marthaville, Louisiana.

Jimmie was a resident of Shreveport and owner of Jimmie’s Auto Repair. He was a people person with a great sense of humor. To know him was to love him. He was a real go-getter. Jimmie was known to get the job done rather than talking about it. He was always eager to find ways to support his family whom he loved dearly. He will be terribly missed but live on in our hearts forever.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray Singletary and Billy Jack Singletary. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Mary Singletary; sons, Rodney Singletary and Brad Singletary; daughter, April McKenzie and husband, Ricky; brother, Ted Singletary and wife, Jan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
