Jimmie Wayne Rash

Jimmie Wayne Rash, age 67, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, following a lengthy illness.

He was born on December 15, 1958. Jimmie spent many years working in retail sales, where he built lasting relationships and was known for his friendly nature and dedication. He will be especially remembered for his great sense of humor and the way he could make others laugh, bringing joy to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Rash and Lois Rash of Tallulah; his sisters, Betty Wright of Tallulah, Peggy Tullos of Laurel, Mississippi, and Alice Lowery of Tallulah; and his brother, Edward Rash of Dunn.

He is survived by his brothers, Billy Rash (Joan) of Tallulah and James “Bub” Rash (Diane) of Tallulah; his sisters, Carolyn Tamburo (Jimmy) of Tallulah, Helen Rash of Irving, Texas, and Joann Tennant (Eddie) of Vicksburg, Mississippi; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Scotty Bullock, Brian Rash, Lance Rash, Chris Tullos, and Justin Horath.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
