Jimmie Frank Haynes

Jimmie Frank Haynes was born November 10, 1951 in Morton, Mississippi. He was an Army Veteran and drove big rigs all across the states. He met his wife, Janice Louise Evans, of 32 years, at a truck stop where she worked, and they married in August of 1994. They did not have any kids but treated others as their own such as Shanae Smith and her daughters, Taylor Shanice and Mya, even their own nieces and nephews. He loved to tell jokes and do magic tricks to make everyone laugh.

On January 8, 2026, Jimmie was in a traumatic traffic accident in his "67" F100 that he loved dearly. Unfortunately on January 11, 2026 he succumbed to his injuries at the age of 74.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his father, William Haynes, mother, Thelma May Barnes Haynes; and sister, Shirley Jean Haynes Naser. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice Haynes; nieces and nephews, Bridgett Dean Coker, Larry Craig Coker, Jennifer Diane Coker, and Chris Jewell; Jimmie's brother, Melton Ray Haynes and wife, Brenda; his sister's kids, Thelma Templet, Sherri Templet, Teresa Templet, and William Paul Templet.

Jimmie will be greatly missed by many friends and family he's grown to know and love over all these years. We will always remember him in our own special ways.
