Jimmie Bradford McCullough, Jr.

"What, we couldn't afford a good hospital?" Making the room laugh until the very end, Jimmie Bradford McCullough Jr. passed away on May 10, 2022. A natural storyteller, Jim was born on January 24, 1955, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jimmie Bradford McCullough, Sr. and Lel Hamner McCullough. His immense creativity served him well as he and his father, Jim McCullough Sr., founded Jim McCullough Productions, where they produced, wrote and/or directed award-winning feature films. He was a collector of hobbies, ranging from music to painting to golf. Jim is preceded in death by his father, Jim McCullough, Sr. He is survived by his three children, Carly Burdock (David), Mack McCullough (Jennifer), and Maggie Schmitz (Matthew); and grandchildren Liam Young, Lydia Burdock, Hayden Burdock, and Declan McCullough. He is also survived by his mother, Lel McCullough; and sister, Cathy Glover (Terry). A celebration of life memorial service will be held on June 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose-Neath Funeral, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, the family would like to invite all friends and family to join them for a reception.
