Arcadia - Funeral services will be held for Jim Smart, age 61, at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in Arcadia. The interment will follow at Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mr. James Donald Smart was born October 23, 1953, in Arcadia to Sam and Mary Smart. He entered into rest on October 3, 2015, in Arcadia, LA. Jim was the owner Smart's Plumbing and Electrical. His priority was his family, and he cherished every second with them. He is preceded in death by his father Sam L. Smart, Sr., son James Matthew Smart and brother Sam L. Smart, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Anita Murphy Smart, mother, Mary Smart, brother, William Smart, children, Daniel Smart, Kelley Smart, Casey Smart, Ramona Bradford, Christen Hampton and husband Standley, Donnie Smart and wife Angelina, Jennifer Danklefsen and husband Steve, by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and by numerous other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Daniel Smart, Donnie Smart, Phillip Smart, Mike Murphy, Standley Hampton, Lance Frye and Jason Smart Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Alton, Tony Nixon, William Smart and Don Disotell.
