We celebrate the life of Jessie James Alexander, born February 28, 1946 and passed away November 12, 2022 at the age of 76 at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier City, LA after being at Heritage Manor of Bossier, LA after 5 months.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Paul and Luella Alexander, sister, Mamie Ruth Sprayberry and brothers, Billy Ray Alexander, Kenneth Richard Alexander, Gerald Wayne Alexander, J. C. Alexander, Cullen Franklin Alexander and Dewayne Alexander.
Those left to cherish his memory is his sisters, Pauline Terry of Vivian, LA and Dottie Moore of McLeod, TX; brothers, Paul Junior Alexander and wife, Margaret of Vivian, LA, Jerry Dan Alexander of Vivian, LA; son, Ralph Priestley Alexander. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jacob Priestley and Jeremy Priestley; great grandson, Nathan Priestley and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Jessie worked in the oil field as a pipe fitter, construction, remodeling homes, cut and bailed hay, mechanic and many more jobs. He loved to travel, camp and most of all fish and hunt. Jessie loved to have fish fries and grill steaks. He loved all his family and many friends.
Honoring Jessie as pallbearers will be Jason Law, Rick Jansen, Gary Headrick, Joe Hill, Chuck Alexander and Jackie Alexander. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Priestley and Travis Alexander.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at Smyrna Cemetery in Smyrna, TX with Brother Roy Davis officiating. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm. on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
