Jerry W. Wiiliams

Jerry Wayne Williams, 76, passed from this earthly life on August 19, 2019. Jerry, (Mr. Enthusiasm) was born on March 24, 1943 to Wayne and June Williams. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1961. He started his career at Caterpillar Tractor in 1962 and retired a top notch heavy equipment mechanic from H & E Equipment in Bossier City, LA in 2007. He married the love of his life, Shirley, in 1966 and they had one son, Richard Wayne in 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and June Williams. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley and son, Ricky. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Robinson and a host of nieces and nephews. We thank all our family and friends who faithfully prayed, called and came by to show their love and concern. We will miss him but we know he is in a better place. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Keithville Cemetery with Brother McKee Williams officiating.
