Jerry A. Stiles

Mr. Jerry A. Stiles (79) of Heflin, Louisiana, passed away July 20, 2023, at his home. Born in San Diego, California February 11, 1944. He married Debbie on March 14, 1980. Jerry proudly served his Country in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division from 1964-1968 as a SP5. After discharge Jerry worked for
Avaya from 1968 until he retired in 2000. He was also Manager-Operator for Bistineau Water System from 1986-2020.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Debbie of Heflin, Sons: Chris Walker & Jennifer of Heflin, Jason Stiles of Minden, Robert Stiles & Cherryl of Minden; grandchildren Travis Walker & Hannah of Heflin, Kyle Walker of Heflin, Elena, Aedyline, & Laren Stiles of Minden; great granddaughter Penelope of Heflin; sister-Melanie Gibson and Brad of Heflin; brother-Billy Sugg and Sharla of Heflin along with numerous family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by: brother-Tommy Bruce Stiles, father-Alvis Stiles, mother-Louise Harris Sugg, step-dad Thomas (Tommy) Sugg, grandparents: Waymon & Rosie Harris, and Andrew Oliver & Effie Stiles.

Graveside services for Jerry A. Stiles will be held at Bistineau Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, with Bro. Bruce Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Bistineau Baptist Church prior to the service time.
