A funeral service for Jerry Calvin Lynn, 78, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. Until 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Burial to follow the service at the Cemetery, on Cemetery Road off Bellevue Road. Officiating the service will be Hyrum Mitchell. Officiating at the graveside will be Art Davis.
Jerry was born May 22, 1944, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to Fred Richard Lynn and Mary Ellen Manning and passed away on July 10, 2022.
Jerry retired from the Army National Guard and retired as a Master Plumber. Jerry’s hobbies included working on vehicles, hunting, fishing, racing cars, gardening, and working in the yard. He enjoyed collecting many things. If you were to ask anyone to describe Jerry, they would say he is a man with a huge heart who enjoys helping anyone that needs it. He always went above and beyond for his loved ones and family. Jerry was also seen by many as a workaholic. He would work as a full-time plumber by day and did a lot of various side work after. Jerry was loved by many and is going to be greatly missed.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jessica Lynn; sister, Marie Rose; brothers, Fred Lynn, Raymond Lynn, George Lynn, Billy Lynn, and Joseph Lynn. He is survived by his sons, Benny Lynn, Bobby Lynn and wife, Tammie, Ronny Lynn and wife, Isabella; daughter, Jerri Craig and husband, Timmy; sisters, Frances Holiday, Patricia Barnes; brothers, Johnny Lynn and wife, Mary Lou, James Lynn; grandchildren, Kylie Beyersdorf and husband, David, Casey Lynn, Robert Craig, Cassie Craig and Fiancé, Kolton Pace, Farrah Burns and husband, Chris, Nicole Scarborough, Alexandria Valdez; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and Tommy Anderson the loving mother of his children.
Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Chris Burns, Robert Craig, Bobby Lynn, Casey Lynn, Ronny Lynn, and Kolton Pace. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Lynn.
