Officiating the service will be Pastor Justin Haigler. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Jerry was born September 2, 1948, in Pineville, Louisiana, to Valley Guillot and Della Dupuy Guillot. He passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2022.

Jerry graduated from Bossier High School in 1967, then enlisted in the Air Force and proudly served four years. He was molded by the discipline he was taught during his service and returned to be a successful business entrepreneur, owning Van City and Shamrock Mini Plaza. He went on to pursue his passion by raising Beefmaster cattle at his beloved Rockin EZ Ranch that he and Becky owned. Jerry was a father figure to his brothers, sisters, and so many others.  He was a simple man with the heart of a servant and genuinely cared about people. He was always there to comfort you, make you smile, laugh, and give much-needed advice.  We should all be inspired to be more like him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Mack Sanford; and sister, Betty Arrendell. He is survived by his wife and love of his life for 45 years, Rebecca Ann Sanford; mother-in-law, Peggy Sanford; brothers-in-law, Mike Sanford and Danny Sanford; brothers, Gary Guillot and Larry Guillot; sisters, Shirley Littleton, Diane Guillot, and Patricia Hinson and husband, Dell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Gary Guillot, Kedrick Beckett, Dell Hinson, Jerry Dell Hinson, Shane Kilpatrick, and Roy Hicks. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Steve Fort, Robbie Crowell, Bill Brown, Dudley Chewing, David Abney, Darrell McLemore, Shane Culver, Russell Jones, and Frenchy Villemarette.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for help and support to the Bossier City Police Department, Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ann, Jill, Darla, Shane, Gary, Kedrick, and all of Jerry’s cattle buddies.
