Jerry Wayne Day

Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Day will be held Monday, November 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Richard Methvin officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana with military honors. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. Monday at Rose-Neath prior to the service. Jerry was born September 7, 1937, in Shreveport, Louisiana and entered into rest November 18, 2021, in Minden, Louisiana. Jerry served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Minden F&AM Lodge # 51. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Charlene Day. He is survived by his wife, Keitha Day of Minden; sons, Scott Edward Day and Susie, Rick Allen Day and Jennifer, and Gary Wayne Day and Amy all of Minden; daughter, Denise Weeks and Bobby of Minden; sisters, Bennie Bailey of Natchitoches and Patsy Crain of Greenwood; brothers, Mike Day and Kay of Minden; grandchildren, Scott Edward Day, Jr., Jacob Day, April Day, Nicole Cox, Garrett Day, Gary Wayne Day, Jr., Ryan Day, Sarah Bailey, Brittney Weaver, and Kayla Tidwell, and 24 great-grandchildren.
