Jerry L. Breland, Sr.

Funeral service for Jerry Lynn Breland, Sr. will begin at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Vick Baptist Church in Effie. Burial will follow at the Dodge Cemetery in Vick. Jerry Lynn Breland, Sr., age 61, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his home in Effie. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Peggy Breland of Effie; sons, Jerry (Tracie) Breland, Jr. and Shawn Joseph (Amanda) Breland of Larto, and one he took on as his own, Gene Breland of Marksville; brothers, Thomas (Charmaine) Breland of Fifth Ward, Joseph Breland of Texas, and Rodney Breland of Alexandria; grandchildren, Justin Breland of Brouillette, Austin Breland of Vick, Lizzie Breland of Vick, Coltin Breland of Vick, Kalli Breland of Larto, Dalton Breland of Larto, and Hadley Breland of Larto. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, Adam "Peanut" Breland of Broulliette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton & Mary Lou Breland; brother, Clyde Breland; sister, Janice Breland. A visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Vick Baptist Church in Effie. Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville have been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
