Jerome Fraser

Funeral services for Jerome "Jerry" Templeman Fraser, 52, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Matthew Long officiating. Interment will follow at St. Lucy Catholic Church Cemetery in Hodge, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. with a Rosary beginning at 11:15 until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Jerry was born November 23, 1965 in Shreveport and went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2018 in Shreveport. He graduated from Captain Shreve High School and attended Northwestern State University. He was an avid LSU Tiger fan. Jerry had a huge heart, was a very caring person, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a loving father, husband, and adored his mother. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Alexander Fraser; paternal grandparents, Jerome and Edith Fraser; and maternal grandparents, Coach Eddie and Genevieve McLane. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jill Allison Fraser; mother, Ann McLane Fraser; sons, Jeremy Fraser and Samuel Fraser; daughter, Carol Ann Parrish and husband Trevor; and sisters, Colleen Fraser Leonard, Catherine Fraser, Pat Fraser Lynn and husband Bill, and Eleanor Fraser Gaulden and husband Mark. Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Samuel Fraser, Jeremy Fraser, Trevor Parrish, Bill Lynn, Mark Gaulden, and Fraser Gaulden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Louisiana Tech University Foundation McLane Scholarship, PO Box 1190, Ruston, LA 71273-1190. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Aime Hospice.
