A visitation for Jeremy S. Gorman, 45, will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jeremy was born on November 3, 1980, to Melvin and Lisa Gorman in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jeremy was a proud graduate of Southwood High School and the dedicated owner of River Bend Pools, where he built lasting relationships through hard work, honesty, and a genuine commitment to his customers. He loved the outdoors and found his greatest joy in fishing, hunting, and cheering on LSU football. His days were often spent doing the things that brought him peace and purpose, surrounded by the people he loved most.
Jeremy was a proud father to his daughters, Faith, Hope, and Paisley, and he cherished each of them deeply. He was also a devoted son, a loving brother, and a good friend to many. Jeremy’s loyalty, his laughter, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about will forever be remembered. His family and friends will carry his spirit with them always, holding close the memories of a man who loved fiercely and lived fully.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Jackie Smith; paternal grandparents, C.E. and Angie Gorman; aunt, Kristi Smith; and uncles, Jimmy Gorman and Travis Gorman.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Melvin and Lisa Gorman; his beloved daughters, Faith, Hope, and Paisley; brothers, Josh Gorman (Alicia) and Justin Gorman (Holly); uncles, Billy Gorman (Sherrie) and Gene Gorman; and aunt, Phyllis Gorman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. Additionally, Jeremy leaves behind the members of Leatherman Creek Hunting Club, who were like family to him.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, kind words, and support shown during this difficult time. They would also like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for Jeremy over the last four years. A special thank you is given to Function First Therapy for their dedication and compassion.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
