STONEWALL, LA: Graveside services were held for Jeffrey "Jeff" Kendrick, 54, at Kendrick Cemetery north of Homer, LA on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. Barge Elmore and Mr. Buddy Nelson, officiating. The family received friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Jeff was born March 29, 1961 in Homer to Thomas Eugene and Jo Ann Miller Kendrick. He entered into rest on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Shreveport. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Sheryl Babcock. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Terri Yates Kendrick of Stonewall; a daughter, Hannah Jo Kendrick of Lafayette; a step daughter, Heather Williams of Keithville; a step son, Jonathan Hamlet of Keithville; a sister, Nancy Nelson and husband Buddy of Homer; special nieces, Anna Greene, Emily Burford, Olivia Greene and JoJo Burford; a brother, Jim Kendrick and wife Leah of Homer; 5 grandchildren, Tyler Hamlet, Mary Ashleigh Hamlet, Tryston Fleming, Tryniti Hamlet and Kylie Jo Williams; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Buddy Nelson, Danny Yates, Keith Dunning, John Cole, Danny Shearin and Jonathan Hamlet. In lieu of flowers honoring Jeff, his family suggests memorials be to Regional Hospice of Shreveport, LA or the Paralyzed Veterans of America, www.pva.org .
