Jeanette Mae Wollschlaeger Joiner

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Jeanette Mae Wollschlaeger Joiner, age 83, of Greenwood, Louisiana passed away on November 18, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends.

Jeanette was born on August 30, 1942 in Dawson, North Dakota to Fred (Freddie) and Frieda Wollschlaeger. Jeanette was married to the love of her life for 39 years before he passed away in 2014. She worked for many years at Kelly's Truck Stop before she retired. She was a faithful member at Christ Lutheran Church, her faith in Christ guided her every step. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit and her love for God's word. Jeanette was a remarkable woman who brought love and happiness to so many.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, (Fred) Freddie and Frieda Wollschlaeger; husband, Jerry Charles Joiner; son, Gerold Lee Gramm; brothers, Gerry Wollschlaeger, Robert Wollschlaeger, and Kenneth Wollschlaeger. Left to cherish her memory includes her children, Connie Joiner Shoemaker (Charles) of Saline, LA, Charles Lee Joiner (Penny) of Jonesboro, LA, Clinton Roy Joiner (Pamela) of Winnfield, LA, and Charlotte Joiner Irvin (Kenny) of Chatham, LA; daughter-in-law, Sharri Gramm of Greenwood, LA; grandchildren, Jonathan Gramm (April), Jeremy Gramm, Zachary Gramm (Hannah), Cheyenne Swilley (Robert), Jodi Futrell (Shawn), Jennifer Smith (Steven), Julie Bradley (Shawn), Jessica Coffey (Michael), Chris Joiner (Kristi) and Christy Joiner Reed (Austin), Jamie Joiner, Joanna Joiner Shamburger (Michael), and Trish Joiner; numerous beloved great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with extended family members, church family, and dearest friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 located at Christ Lutheran Church, 290 Idema St, Shreveport, LA 71106 with Rev. Michael Shannon to officiate. Burial will be held at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Honoring Jeanette as pallbearers will be Clint Joiner, Caden Gramm, Michael Shamburger, Colorado Green, Preston Joiner, and Mechegael Harris. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Shoemaker, Charles Lee Joiner, and Kenny Irwin.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Christus Highland for their compassion, love, and care they provided to Jeanette.
