Jeanette Faye Nichols

Funeral services for Jeanette Faye Nichols will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at University Church of Christ, 2045 E. 70th St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Central Church of Christ Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas. Officiating the service will be Jerry Hodge. Jeanette was born May 23, 1936 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky and passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She met her husband, Kenneth Ray Nichols in 1960 in Shreveport, Louisiana. They married April 6, 1962 and were married for 59 years. She was a military wife for 22 of those years. "Jean" as her friends and family would call her, had twins, a boy and a girl, in August 1966. Jean and Ken were longtime members of the Church of Christ. Jean is survived by her immediate family, husband, Kenneth Nichols; her twins, Kenneth Ray Nichols Jr. and Karen Gaye Miller; granddaughter, Maci Gray Miller and son-in-law, Dallas Clay Miller.
