Funeral services for Jean Gifford Haygood will be held Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Leon Boggs officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Jean was born April 2, 1929 in Crossett, Arkansas and entered into rest November 9, 2017 in Minden, Louisiana. She was a dedicated housewife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Era Gifford and son Alan Haygood.
She is survived by her husband, John Haygood of Minden, daughter, Suzanne Odom and husband Troy of Lewisville, Arkansas, granddaughter Stephanie Odom Phillips and husband Ryan, and great grandchildren, Brenna Callie and Blaine Austin Phillips of Baton Rouge.
