Jean Marlene Ayers

Jean Marlene Herren Ayers, 77, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Rose-Neath. Officiating the service will be Darwin Hunter.

Jean was born on August 1, 1948 in Shreveport to Paul Richard Herren and Juanita Woods Herren. She  was a resident of Gary, Texas before passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, G.W. Ayers; children, Markham Rider, Christopher Rider and Jodi Rider; siblings, Patricia Herren, Judy Herren Catanese, Beverly Markham, Ryan Herren, and Mike Herren.

Jean will be terribly missed by her family but they will always love her and cherish her memory.
