Jay L. Pennington

Jay was born March 21, 1926 in Okemah, OK to Wiley Pennington and Jay Lee (Gower) Pennington and entered into rest on April 5, 2020 in Many, LA. Graveside services for Jay will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Aimwell Cemetery with Brother Ronnie Sandifer officiating. He was a member of Aimwell Church. He served honorably in the United States Navy. Preceding Jay in death were his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Wiley Pennington; and his step-daughter-in-law, Cathy Wiley. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Louise Pennington of Zwolle, LA; his stepson, Michael Wiley of Grand Cane, LA; his sister, Mary Hanson of Dallas, TX, his sister, Retha Stanfield (Don) of Dallas, TX; his step grandson, Craig Wiley and fiancé JJ Johnson of Little Rock, AR; his great grandchildren, Shani Agent & husband, Ryan of Sherman, TX; Dathan Wiley Sherman, TX; Katie Wiley of Blanchard, LA; his great, great granddaughter, Evelyn Agent of Sherman, TX; along with a host of friends and family members. Honoring Jay as pallbearers will be Jerry Price, Jared Fisette, George Sabotka, Jack Crain, Don Ellerbe, and Mike Walker.
