Jarvus N. Bounds

A memorial service for Jarvus N. Bounds, 84, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Kingston Road Baptist Church, 900 Kingston Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana.

Jarvus was born on December 11, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Arthur and Connie Bounds and passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

He was a professional wall paper hanger for 30+ years. He enjoyed hot rods and Harley’s. He was in the church choir for many years. He enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to travel.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bounds; sister, Lagail Lynch and brother, Dwight Bounds. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Eric Bounds and wife, Cynthia; daughter, Sheri Daniele and husband, Michael; granddaughter, Amber and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to Jackie and Trish for being there until the end.
