A Graveside Memorial Service for Janet Louise Hrdlicka, 80, of Benton, Louisiana, will be held on December 11, 2023, at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clarke Drive, Keithville, Louisiana, at 10:30 a.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Shane Nugent.

Janet Louise Hrdlicka was born on January 23, 1942, in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota to Alfred Fredrick and Julia Christina Moen Anderson and passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Janet married her husband Karl on May 10, 1971. She was a homemaker and mother to two boys whom she loved with her whole heart, and they worshipped and loved her dearly in return. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, needlepoint, upholster furniture, tend to her flower garden, make ceramics, play card games, and put puzzles together. She had a delightful laugh and the most beautiful spirit. She remained laughing and smiling and sharing her sweetness until she passed away peacefully encompassed in love. She was a wonderful woman and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Janet Hrdlicka was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Karl Dennis Hrdlicka; grandson, T.J. Martin; siblings, Milton Vernon Anderson, Delores Mae Anderson Onsun, Gordon Leroy Anderson, Kenneth Earl Anderson, and Willard Gene Anderson. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Doris Ann Anderson Lachowitzer, Sharon Harriet Anderson Wright; brother, Roger Alan Anderson; loving sons, Tony Hrdlicka and wife, Judy, and Terry Keck and wife, Karen; granddaughters, Christ Martin Nutt and husband, Daniel., Renee Christopher Procell and husband, Bryan, Christina Jeanne Thomason; grandsons, Clint Hrdlicka and wife, Nicole, Cory Hrdlicka, and Casey Hrdlicka and wife, Brooke; eleven great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 The family would like to express their special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Heritage Manor in Bossier City, and Cypress Point Nursing and Rehab Center, and Life Path Hospice for the care and compassion that was shown to Janet and her family during this difficult time.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
