Mooringsport, LA - Graveside services for Jane Harriet Player, age 82 will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Mooringsport Memorial Gardens, Mooringsport, LA with Rev. Chris Charles officiating. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, September 12th at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA from 5 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Player was born on May 31, 1936 in San Antonio, TX to Carol Hoeft and Marie Hucklebridge Hoeft and passed away on September 8, 2018 at Pierrement Health Care in Shreveport, LA. She was a customer service representative for Wells Fargo and a member of Mooringsport United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Player is preceded in death her parents, Carl and Marie Hoeft and her husband, Darrell Ray Player, Sr. Those left to cherish are memories are her son, Darrell Ray Player, Jr and wife, Mary of Mooringsport, LA; daughter, Cheryl Craig of McLeod, TX; sister, Donna Kelley of Shreveport, LA; brother, Carl Hoeft and wife, Jean of Oil City, LA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
