James William Sullivan

SHREVPORT, LA - On February 14, 2017 James William Sullivan, 73, passed away surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Narrows, Virginia on February 2, 1944 to Daniel Sullivan and Charlotte Bowles Sullivan Surratt. He proudly served his country in the US Army, then served his community as a Shreveport Police Officer for 25 years before retiring. James was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. James was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carolyn T. Sullivan; son, James D. Sullivan and wife, Pauline; daughter, Terri S. Winham and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Christopher Sullivan, Brianna Sullivan, and Steven Sullivan; brother, Thomas R. Bowles and wife, Linda; along with nieces, nephews and extended family.
