James Ray Adams

James Ray Adams, 71, of Longview, Texas passed away on July 7, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. He was born June 10, 1954 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Nelwyn “Nel” and Rayburn “Ray” Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nel and Ray Adams; brother, Buba Adams; and sister-in-law, Darlene Adams.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Adams; daughter, Amanda Nash and husband, James; son, James Ray Adams, Jr. and wife Danielle; and daughters, Stacy Araune, and Sara Wood; grandchildren, Kara Hooper, Allison Rains, Samuel Adams, Justin Nash, and Jake Araune; and great grandchild, Hayes Sojka.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in James’s honor to Beulah Baptist Church, 3417 Hwy 481, Mansfield, Louisiana 71052.
