James "Jimmy" Parker III

LOGANSPORT, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. James "Jimmy" Parker, III, 54, will be at 2:00 PM Friday, November 10, 2017 at Jennings Chapel in Marthaville, LA with Reverend Brian Ray and Reverend Butch Bruce officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. The family will receive friends at Jennings Chapel on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6 PM till 8PM. Jimmy was born on September 19, 1963 to J.D. and Patsye Parker in Shreveport, LA and entered into rest on November 8, 2017 in Logansport, LA. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Riley Parker, Jake Whitten, and Matt Whitten and fiancé Kaitlynn Freeman; his daughter, Kailey Parker; his grandchildren, Tegan, Sawyer, Ryleigh, Ainsley and Levi; his brother, Jerry Parker and wife Melissa; his sister, Georgia Lynn Hilton and husband Mike; his nieces, Kayla Walsworth and husband Chris, Morgan Moore and husband Kendrick, and Sara Gunter and husband Corey; and his nephew, Michael Hilton. Honoring the life of Jimmy as pallbearers will be Jake Whitten, Michael Hilton, Matt Whitten, Chris Walsworth, Kendrick Moore, and Doug Birdwell.
