James "Jimmy" Wimbly Johnson

Minden, LA James "Jimmy" Wimbly Johnson, age 60, of Minden, Louisiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 12, 2019. A memorial service will be held @10:00 am on Monday, October 21, 2019, at Roseneath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Jimmy was born in Minden, Louisiana on September 28, 1959 and was a graduate of Sibley High School. He worked for Fiberbond Corporation for many years and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Wimbly Johnson and mother, Lottie Wall Johnson, of Sibley; and daughter, Heather Rebecca Johnson, of Minden Jimmy is survived by his son, Chris Johnson, wife Tricia, of Heflin; and daughter, Jessica Johnson, of Minden; grandchildren, Cade Johnson, Mackensie Johnson, and Kamryn Goodson; siblings, Brenda Woodard, husband, Charles; Linda Miller, husband, Ricky; Judy Alexander, husband, Terry; Lanette Humphrey, husband, Kevin; Sherry McClung, husband, Keith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
