James R. Meshell

James "Goobie" Meshell, 60, of Zwolle, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 8, 2021. James was born on May 30, 1961, in Converse, Louisiana to Wilson Meshell and Rosa Mae Sepulvado Meshell. A public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and will continue on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Many Chapel. Funeral services honoring the life of James will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, at New Freedom Fellowship, Many, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dean Hillman. Interment will be held at Zwolle Cemetery. Preceding James are his parents, Wilson Meshell and Rosa Mae Sepulvado Meshell; brother, Glen Patrick Meshell; sisters, Hazel Bell, Carolyn Williams, and Linda Williams. Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Steven Meshell and wife Meghan, and Tyler Meshell and Paige Ezernack of Zwolle, LA; daughter, Melinda Jones of Zwolle, LA; brothers, Joe Meshell and wife Linda of Fort Jessup, LA, Woodrow Meshell and wife Bobby of Robeline, LA, and Henry "Tiny" Meshell of Zwolle, LA; sisters, Alice Sepulvado and husband Rob, and Annie Ezernack of Zwolle, LA; grandchildren, Corbyn Jones, Kennedi Green, Kingston Carheel, MaKayden Meshell, DeLaney Meshell, Sophie Meshell, Sadie-Mae Meshell, Luke Meshell, Millie Meshell, and Cristiana Blaize Meshell; special friend, Linda Gail Malmay of Zwolle, LA. Honoring James as pallbearers will be Jacob Ezernack, Larry Remedies, Rodney Meshell, Clifton Malmay, Robert Rutherford, Keith Meshell, and Shawn Meshell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cody Meshell, Aiden Meshell, Jordan Meshell, Rance Meshell, Chubby Meshell, Steven Luke Meshell, Corbyn Jones, Kingston Carheel, Braxton Ebarb, Derrick Arthur, Gary Bell, D.W.
