James Wesley Mason

Funeral services for James Wesley Mason, 68, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at King's Temple United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Damon Magee and Rev. Paul Lobello officiating. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the church. James was born May 15, 1950 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2018 in Grapevine, TX. He was a lifelong member of King's Temple. James loved to spend time with his family and friends, loved to cook and travel, loved all of his family, including his nieces and nephews, and his special friend, Wanda. James was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Mason; sister, Carol Mason; and brother, Charles David Mason. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Arlene Brown Mason; sisters, Linda Peace and husband Bill, Betty Patterson and husband Art, and Judy Myre; and brothers, Bobbie Mason and wife Carolyn, Donnie Mason, and Kenny Mason and wife Kim. Pallbearers will be Mike Patterson, Daniel Patterson, Rodney Mason, Kenny Ray Mason, Michael Mason, and Hunter Myre. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathon Mason and Christian Patterson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King's Temple United Pentecostal Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the family and friends that helped him through these difficult times.
