James Mark Basinger

James "Mark" Basinger was born on November 24, 1968. He came to the Arc Caddo Bossier on January 23, 1993. He resided at the Hoyte Community Home until his health declined on September 29, 2026. Mark enjoyed going to Eastwood Baptist Church where he was involved in singing and praising the Lord. He looked forward to all of the holidays, especially Mardi Gras. He had a passion for hamburgers, chicken and a coke. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with his housemates at Hoyte Community Home. 

James was preceded in death by his mother, Blanche Basinger; father, Ray Basinger, and two siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Peggy Cotton; brother, Michael Basinger; nieces, Kimberly and Tanya, and nephew, Kevin along with the Hoyte Community Home family.
