James A. Madiar

The memorial service for James A. Madiar, 86, will be held December 29, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle. The family will receive friends and guests from 8 AM until service time at 10 AM. Officiating will be Fr. Richard Norsworthy. Interment will follow in Converse Cemetery. James "Jim" Madiar was born in Virden, Illinois to John and Mary Madiar and entered into rest November 16, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a retired Construction Inspector. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Louella Madiar; parents John & Mary; sons, Philip Madiar & James Remedies Sr.; daughter Sheila Qualls; and grandson Kurt Craig. In addition, he was also preceded in death by his sisters: Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Josephine, and Elaine; along with his brothers: John, Joseph, and George.
