James "Jim" Anthony Lord

James “Jim” Anthony Lord, 78, was born on December 3, 1944 and passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He graduated from Fair Park High School in 1962. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he began a career as a Supervisor in construction and HVAC systems. Jim would never pass on a bargain and should anyone ever need any help, he would be there. He was a kindhearted gentleman who was a life long member of Emmaneul Baptist Church and loved his pets dearly.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Dottie Lord; mother, Ina Milazzo; sister, Corene Milazzo Richards; brother, Frank D. Milazzo and nephew, Don I. Post. Left to cherish his memory are his three step-daughters, Helen Moore, Deidre Livingston and husband, John and Stacy Clark and husband, Michael; sister, Mary Sue Milazzo Post and husband, Donnie; brother, Phillip R. Milazzo and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Sophia McReynolds and husband, Michael, Riley Livingston, Sadie Clark and Evan Clark; two great-grandchildren and several nieces.
