James (Greg) Williams

Mr. James Gregory (Greg) Williams, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born on July 30, 1955, in El Dorado, Arkansas, Greg was the beloved son of Joseph and Bonnie Gorman Williams.

Prior to his retirement Greg was an oilfield driller. He was also a devoted son, serving as his mother’s caretaker in her final years—a role he fulfilled with great love.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bonnie Williams; his sister, Teresa Kilbourne; his brother, Gary Williams; and his sister-in-law, Mary Williams.

Left to remember him is his daughter, Jami Hearne, and her husband, Jim; his son, Michael Williams, and his four grandchildren. Greg is also survived by his siblings: Jeff Williams and wife Joan, Marty Williams, Brenda Beard and husband Randy, Drew Williams, and Roger Williams and wife Peggy. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
