James Crews

A \"Celebration of Life\" service for James Crews will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Walnut Road Baptist Church in Springhill, Louisiana. James "Jim" Edward Crews, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in Springhill, Louisiana. He was born on March 20, 1938 in Springhill to Earl Victor Crews and Bertie Mae Crews. He attended Louisiana Tech University and was a Supervisor at Western Electric/AT&T before his retirement. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Jean Crews; and son, Dr. James C. Crews. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Mark Crews and wife, Nannette; grandchildren, Elizabeth Crews, Taylor Crews, and Tucker Crews; and one sister, Johnnie Smith. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who had the privilege to know him. He will be greatly missed and loved forever. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
