James "Pete" Carter

Funeral services will be held for James Dale "Pete" Carter, age 53, at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia. Bro. Wilton Wall will officiate. The interment will follow at Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday night from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. James was born December 6, 1960, in Arcadia, LA to Jesse Dale Carter and Wanda Maxine Moak. He entered into rest on Friday, June 6, 2014, in Shreveport, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse Carter and by 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Maxine Galdamez of Panama City, FL, son Jesse Carter and wife Chasity of Athens, LA, daughter April Carter of Arcadia, LA, brothers Frederick Carter and wife Terri of Simsboro, LA, Jay Carter and wife Judy of Athens, LA and David Carter and wife Diana of Panama City, FL, by 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jesse Carter, Thomas Carter, Ross Moak, JD Roberts, Dakota Roberts, James Godbolt, Matt Allums and Isaiah Williams.
