SHREVEPORT, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Jacqueline Vergo Palumbo, 89, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shreveport, LA, with Rev. Fidel Mondragon officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA.
Jacqueline was born June 25, 1929, in Shreveport, LA to Josephine Pizzalato Vergo and Marion Vergo and passed away December 7, 2018, in Shreveport, LA.
Preceding Jacqueline in death were her parents, husband, Morris Palumbo, Infant twin daughters, Mary and Martha Palumbo, brothers, Sebastian "John" Vergo and Peter Vergo and sister, France Vergo. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rosanne, Maryjo, Janice Palumbo; and numerous cousins and friends.
