Funeral services for Jackie “Jack” Ray Linder, 78, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 4300 N Market St, Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday, February 20, 2026. Burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Monsignor Rothell Price.
Jack was born on May 23, 1947 in Monroe, Louisiana to Shelby and Corine Linder and passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Jack was an avid music lover and was a huge fan of Elvis. He enjoyed singing and dancing. He lit up the room when he walked in. He enjoyed coaching his sons baseball and football teams when they were younger. He was an amazing caregiver and devoted his life to caring for his wife and son before their passing. Above all, he was a wonderful father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Corine Linder; wife of 50 years, Suzie Linder; son, Brian Linder; grandson, Cody Linder; granddaughter, Taylor Linder and brothers, Bobby Linder, Ronald Linder and Jimmy Linder. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Andy Linder and wife, Heather, Evan Linder and Jack Linder, Jr. and wife, Amanda and only daughter, Angie Walker; grandchildren, Brian Linder, Jr., Kaden Linder, Royce Linder, Amanda Sloan, Liz Linder, Andrew Linder, Adam Linder, Zachary Lowery, Trenton Walker, Wyatt Walker, Abigail Walker and Addison Walker and number great-grandchildren.
Honoring Jack as pallbearers will be Shelby Linder, Danny Linder, David Pagot, Mike McGowan, Mark Cascio and Roy Baker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Revis Youngblood and Joby Maniscalco.
