Funeral service for Irvin J. Bernard of Marksville will begin at 11:00am Friday, February 18, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick\'s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph\'s Catholic Cemetery #2 in Marksville. Irvin J. Bernard, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his residence in Marksville, Louisiana. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nola Bernard of Marksville; sons, Glenn Bernard of Marksville and Darnell Bernard of Marksville; Daughters, Tina Bernard of Marksville and Darlene Laborde of Marksville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons, Weldon Bernard and Kent Bernard; parents, Jules Bernard and Marie Bordelon; sister, Joyce Barbin; daughter, Belinda Lachney; special grand-daughter, Samantha Bernard; and brothers, Terell Bernard and J.C. Bernard. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Thursday, February 17, 2022 until time of service on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville.
