Iris J Rush

Funeral services honoring the life of Iris J. "Buck" Rush will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, Louisiana with Bro. Charles "Chucky" Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Sloan Cemetery in Mansfield. A visitation with the family will be held before time of service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Buck was born on May 28, 1943 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Pete and Edith Rush. He entered into rest on March 11, 2020 in Converse, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Edith Rush; son, Chris Rush; and sister, Anna Rush. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Debra Rush; sons, Conny Rush and wife Robin, Kevin Rush, Wayne Rush, Adam Rush and wife Veronica, and Cody Rush and wife Vivian; daughter, Sonji Luigs and husband Falcon; sisters, Markita Swint and Windella Lane; brother, Ricky Rush; four grandchildren and one on the way, and five great-grandchildren. Honoring Buck as pallbearers will be Lynn and Glenn Smith, Jeff Jagneaux, Terrel Thomas Snelling, Fredrick Percival and Kayd Rush.
