Graveside services for Huey Mae Attaway White will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Brooklyn Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Saturday prior service time at Brookland Cemetery. Huey was born April 20, 1939 in Grand Cane, Louisiana and entered into rest December 6, 2020 in Minden, Louisiana. She was a longtime resident of Longstreet, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newman, Sr. and Bessie Attaway; husband, Harvey H. White, Sr.; sister, Mary Louise Deen, and brothers, Newman Attaway, Jr. and Lewis Attaway. She is survived by her sons, Jay White and wife Ginger, Harvey White and wife Anita; daughter, Darlene Boyce; sisters, Bobbie Myers, Dorothy Holmes, Brenda James, Joe May and Sue Prince; brother, Harold Attaway, and six grandchildren.
