Graveside services for Huey P. Harrell, Jr. will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Brushwood Cemetery in Dubberly, Louisiana with Rev. James Lovell officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Huey was born August 1, 1952 in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest July 28, 2019 in Jamestown, Louisiana. He was a welder with Clement Industries.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny, Ronnie and Henry Harrell and sister, Mary Ellen Harrell.
He is survived by his sons, Curtis Harrell and wife Stacy of Castor and Bryan Harrell of Jamestown, daughter, Crystal Harrell Ascencio and husband Angel of Springhill, sisters, Susie Hoyle and husband Nathan of Dubberly, Donna Prater and husband Clyde of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Linda Sue Childs of Elm Grove, sister-in-law, Nadine Harrell of Dubberly, mother of his children, Barbie Butler of Jamestown, seven grandchildren and his dog, Elsa.
