A "Celebration of Life" Memorial Service for Howard "Dale" Perrin, 83, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Dale was born on March 6, 1938 to Irene and Howard Perrin in Wanette, Oklahoma and passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Stonewall. He was a resident of Stonewall, Louisiana and an avid fisherman. He served in the Louisiana National Guard as a young man. Dale was the former owner of Keithville Tire and Auto and raised thoroughbred horses at the Triple P Farm. He was a proprietor of many businesses during his lifetime. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dale is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Sarah Riley Perrin; son, Michael Perrin; and siblings, Paul Roy Perrin, Wanda Marks, Norma Anthony, Nancy Williamson and Gail Perrin. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Ken Perrin and wife, Gwenna "Wendy," James Perrin and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Austin Brian, Shawn Brian, Shelby-Canna Milligan; great-grandchildren, Madison Brian, Anthony Brian, Lilly Brian, Alden Brian, and Adler Brian; brothers, Gary Perrin and James "Jimmy" Parnell; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express special thanks to his brother, Gary Perrin for all the wonderful care and compassion given to Dale during his final years. They also want to thank Travis Nutt, Lisa Hickingbottom, and the staff of the Bradford Nursing Home for all the great care and support. The family wants to personally thank Savanah Graves with Elara Home Health for all her exceptional care and compassion given to Dale. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park in Blanchard, Louisiana.
