Hosea Lewing

Hosea Lewing, 73, was born on January 8, 1952 to Perry Lewing and Vida Powell Lewing in Louisiana and passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 in Many, Louisiana.

Hosea loved to joke and play. He also enjoyed fishing. But above all else, he adored his daughter and grandchildren and spending time with them.

Hosea is preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Vida Lewing; sister, Blanchie Neal; and grandson, Joel Cloud. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Strother and husband, Carter, of Marksville, Louisiana; sisters, Sharon Manasco of Many, Louisiana and Mable Behan of Natchitoches, Louisiana; grandchildren, Douglas Cloud, Jr. of Pineville, Louisiana and Victoria Cloud of Pineville, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
