Minden, LA Funeral services for Hope A. Weeks will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Chet Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Hope was born December 10, 1933 in Dodson, Louisiana and entered into rest August 22, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana. She was a charter member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church and a retired cafeteria worker with Webster Parish School Board. She was preceded in death by her husband; Dewey D. "Bob" Weeks, parents; Evan and Rhuey Austin, siblings; Lurlaine Skipper, Harley and Eugene Austin, son-in-law; Joel Newsom, daughters-in-law; Brenda Robertson Weeks and Gayle Bussey Stringer. She is survived by her children; William T. "Billy" Weeks of Minden, Carol Newsom Morehead (Ronald) of Doyline, Bobby G. Weeks (Denise) of Minden, and Thomas Stringer of Texas, sister; Evie Sue Jones of Winnfield, brothers; John Austin of Winnfield and Charles G. Austin of Tannehill, grandchildren; Angela Weeks Frye (Shane), Peyton Weeks (Lindsay), Dr. Jeremiah Newsom, Levi Newsom (Felicia), Whitney Weeks, Brittany Weeks Weaver (Dan), Chelsi Weeks (Ron), Kayla Weeks Tidwell (Cody), Brian Stringer, Tim Stringer (Marla), Michael Stringer (Lydia), Amanda Stringer Holder, Kim Bussey, and Chris Bussey (Rachelle), and 34 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be; Dwayne Chapman, Tim Greer, Gary Floyd, Kenneth Greer, Justin Perryman, and Terry Gray.
