Henrietta Dupree

Oil City, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Henrietta Dupree, age 84 will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. John McCaherty, pastor of Ferry Lake Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Bill Treadway. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Oil City, LA. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Henrietta was born on January 20, 1938 to Eddie B. Elmore and Jennie Lou Herring Elmore and passed away on March 17, 2022 at her residence in Oil City, LA. She was a faithful member of Ferry Lake Baptist Church and loved to go to the paint class at church. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Charles "Dugan" Dupree; son, Randy Dupree and all of her siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Christine Young and husband, James of Shreveport, LA, Chuck Dupree and wife, Lisa of Shreveport, LA and Mike Dupree and Cheryl of Oil City, LA. Henrietta is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Honoring Henrietta as pallbearers will be Chuck Dupree, Mike Dupree, James Young, Shane Dupree, Cody Young, Andrew Dupree and Sebastian Cranford. Honorary pallbearer will be Ethan Dupree.
