Helen Kathryn Wilkinson, age 89, of Mansfield, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2026.
A visitation for Helen will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, visitation will resume at 1:00 p.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, MS.
A funeral service for Helen Kathryn Wilkinson, of Mansfield, will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Meadville, Mississippi. Burial will follow at the Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Helen was a woman whose kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a servant’s heart and found great fulfillment in giving back to her community. She was a proud member of the Pilot Club, where she dedicated her time and talents to helping others. She also cherished the lifelong friendships she shared as a member of the Red Hat Society and the Pink Lady’s volunteer organization at DeSoto Regional Health System, where her warm smile and compassionate nature brightened the days of countless patients, visitors, and staff.
A lover of nature, Helen enjoyed traveling and discovering new places, always returning home with stories and treasured memories. She also had a passion for antiquing, delighting in finding unique pieces that reflected history, beauty, and craftsmanship. Whether exploring a quaint antique shop, planning her next trip, or spending time with family and friends, she embraced every moment with enthusiasm and gratitude.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Delman Rogers of Mansfield; sons, Richard (Mary) Wilkinson of Shreveport and Dudley (Carmen) Wilkinson of Meadville, MS; daughter-in-law, Deb Wilkinson; grandchildren, Cami, Max, Triston, Parker, Noah, Isabelle, Brooke, Paige, and Evelyn; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Nallah, Arlo, Ruth, Jordan, Kaden, Lyric, Lilah, and Nia.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Dalton Emfinger, Paul Smith, Max Wilkinson, Parker Wilkinson, Triston Wilkinson, and Kristopher Gates.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 43 years, Herbert A. Wilkinson, Jr.; son, Thomas Howard Wilkinson; parents, Joseph H. & Kathryn Crews; siblings, Joseph H. Crews, Eleanor Emmanuel, and William “Bill” Crews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff of DeSoto Regional Health System and Mansfield Nursing Center for the compassionate care, kindness, and dignity they showed throughout her journey. Your dedication, support, and comfort meant more than words could ever express and will never be forgotten.
