McLeod, TX Funeral services for Mrs. Helen B. Stevens will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 6 p.m. at McLeod Tabernacle in McLeod, Texas with Rev. Jeff Story officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m. Monday at McLeod Tabernacle. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11 a.m at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Ruston, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Mrs. Stevens was born November 11, 1927 in Quitman, Louisiana and entered into rest November 21, 2019 in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Stevens and son, Johnny L. King. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Merritt of Minden, step-sons, Douglas Stevens and wife Debra, Kenith Stevens, Rodger Stevens, Bobby Stevens and wife Cora all of Vivian, Louisiana, and Randy Stevens and wife Janet of McLeod, Texas, step-daughters, Brenda Carl of Vivian, Louisiana, Norma Heflin and husband Larry of Hosston, Louisiana, Tana Bond and husband Dennis of Mooringsport, Louisiana, and Lana Poindexter and husband John of Bivins, Texas, grandsons, Paul Darin Merritt and wife Charlene of Dallas, Texas and John Anthony (Andy) Merritt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
