HOMER, LA: A graveside service was held for Mrs. Helen Alene Jackson Glenn, 86, at Arlington Cemetery of Homer, LA, on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Danny Baskin, officiating.
Mrs. Glenn was born August 23, 1933, in Sardis, AR, to Charles Ezzy and Fay Golden Corrigian Jackson. She entered into rest on Sunday, September 1, 2019, in Homer, LA. Mrs. Glenn was a member of First United Methodist Church of Homer. She and her husband, Robert, were the owners and operators of the Sears catalog store in Homer for 23 years.
Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Joseph Glenn; and three brothers, Charles Jackson, Arley Jackson, and Curtis Jackson.
She is survived by her two sons, Curtis Glenn of Homer, LA, and Steven Glenn and wife Sherry of Minden, LA; three grandchildren, Stein Glenn and wife Cheryl of Perry, FL, Terah Parker and husband Randy of Tallahassee, FL, and Jared Thompson of Minden, LA; nine great-grandchildren, Zane, Kale, Rylee, Madysen, Savanna, Ashtyn, Paisley-Kate, Piper-Grace, and Zander; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
