Helen was born and raised in Amite, Louisiana. She attended Northeast Louisiana University pharmacy school before deciding that she wanted to become a pharmaceutical sales representative. Helen moved to Tyler, Texas where she became the first female sales representative in East Texas. There she met her husband of 36 years, John Breen. They had two children, Katelyn Davis (Matt Davis) and Samuel Breen.
Helen loved to travel, crack jokes, and spend time with her long-time friends. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and being "Nana" to her grandson, Andy Davis. She had a big heart and a passion to help others.
After a hard fight, Helen victoriously finished her race and is home with the Lord. She will be dearly missed, but it is not good-bye it is "See You Later Alligator". One of God's greatest gifts is the people that he places in our lives. Helen was our gift and now forever more.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations or sponsor a child to Juna Amagara Ministries at amagara.org., a ministry that she loved and was passionate about. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed, sent cards, gifts, meals, etc. over the past several months. You all have made Helen feel loved and provided her comfort.
Services honoring Mrs. Breen will be held in the chapel at Rose- Neath South on February 28, 2022. Visitation will take place at 10:00am and the memorial service at 11:00am.
